Housing to Hope Initiative is building a membership network that connects neighbors, organizations, businesses, community leaders, youth leaders, employers, educators, mentors, housing partners, and supporters.
Because no single organization can meet every need.
But a connected community can create more places to start and more paths to rise.
A Place to Start. A Path to Rise.
Community Network
Housing to Hope Initiative strengthens communities by connecting individuals, families, businesses, and organizations in a shared network of support. Our members collaborate to expand access to housing resources, workforce opportunities, education, and mentorship, building lasting stability and growth for everyone involved.
Stability is connected. Housing, employment, education, financial stability, mentorship, independent living, community relationships, and access to information can all shape a person's path forward. The numbers help show why stronger community connections matter.

View Source: HUDA housing need may also involve employment.
An employment goal may require education or training.
Financial stability may depend on savings knowledge and reliable income.
A young person may need mentorship and opportunity.
Someone rebuilding after incarceration may need several connections at the same time.
A veteran may need to navigate resources across multiple organizations.
The needs are connected. The response should be connected too.
Communities already contain organizations, businesses, programs, professionals, leaders, knowledge, and people who want to help. But resources may exist across different organizations and systems. Housing to Hope is being built to strengthen the connections between them.

Community Resources
Housing to Hope does not own or directly provide every resource displayed. The network helps connect community needs with existing community resources.
Housing to Hope is designed as a membership network because we believe stronger communities are built together. Our role is to help create a connected environment where neighbors, businesses, organizations, professionals, leaders, volunteers, and supporters can contribute, connect, learn, and grow.

Pathway statuses reflect the current stage of development. Housing to Hope does not imply that every pathway is currently an operating program.
Understand the needs, experiences, strengths, and gaps identified by neighbors, members, and communities.
Bring organizations, businesses, leaders, employers, educators, mentors, professionals, and community members into a shared network.
Help members discover relevant information, relationships, resources, knowledge, and opportunities.
Strengthen pathways across Housing, Workforce, Education, Financial Learning, Youth Development, Reentry, Independent Living, Mentorship, and Family Support.
Track what connections are being made, what resources people are reaching, where gaps remain, and where stronger partnerships are needed.
Use what we learn to strengthen partnerships, improve programs, expand useful resources, and responsibly grow into additional communities.
STRONGER COMMUNITIES
More connection. More knowledge. More opportunity. More pathways forward.
Our Response

CALIFORNIA YOUTH
2021 DATA

Opportunity youth in this cited measure are young people ages 16-24 who were neither in school nor working.
Housing to Hope's youth and workforce pathways are being designed around connection: education, mentorship, leadership development, skills, employers, training, and opportunity.
But together, a community can do more.
Housing to Hope is not being built to replace the organizations already doing important work. We want to connect them. We want businesses to find meaningful ways to participate. We want community leaders and youth leaders to have a place at the table. We want neighbors and residents to discover pathways that may otherwise be difficult to find. And we want members to be able to contribute what they know, what they have, and what they can offer. That is what it means to build in community.
